Statuscurrent
DescriptionA one-byte identifier for the circuit selected by the Intermediate System. On point-to-point circuits, the value is used as the Local Circuit ID in point-to-point IIH PDUs transmitted on this circuit. In this case, values of isisCircLevelIDOctet do not need to be unique. For broadcast circuits, the value is used to generate the LAN ID that will be used if this Intermediate System is elected as the Designated IS on this circuit. The value is required to differ on LANs where the Intermediate System is the Designated Intermediate System.
