| Description | This object reflects the maximum time a SIP client will wait to receive retransmissions of responses to non-INVITE requests. The timer is started upon entering the 'Completed' state for non-INVITE transactions. When timer K fires, the server MUST transition to the 'Terminated' state. The default value MUST be T4 for UDP transport, and its value MUST be 0 for reliable transport like TCP/SCTP. |
