| Description | A control to limit the maximum queue space (in octets) that this TCP connection is likely to occupy during slowstart. It can be implemented with the algorithm described in RFC 3742 by setting the max_ssthresh parameter to twice tcpEStatsTuneLimSsthresh. This algorithm can be used to overcome some TCP performance problems over network paths that do not have sufficient buffering to withstand the bursts normally present during slowstart. |
