| Description | This object controls the IGMP mode of operation for
the CM or CMTS. In passive mode, the device forwards
IGMP between interfaces as based on knowledge of
Multicast Session activity on the subscriber side
interface and the rules defined in the DOCSIS RFI
specification. In active mode, the device terminates
at and initiates IGMP through its interfaces as based
on the knowledge of Multicast Session activity on the
subscriber side interface. |
