Module ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-PORT-MIB (Alcatel)
NomtmnxPortHoldTimeUp
Accesreadwrite
Statuscurrent
DescriptionThe value of tmnxPortHoldTimeUp is used to configure the hold-timer for link up event dampening. This guards against reporting excessive interface transitions. This is implemented by not advertising subsequent transitions of the interface to upper layer protocols until the configured timer has expired. A value of zero (0) indicates that an up transition is reported immediately. The value of tmnxPortHoldTimeUp is not applicable when tmnxPortClass has a value of 'sonet (5)'. In that case, tmnxSonetHoldTimeUp is used instead.
