Module ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-VRTR-MIB (Alcatel)
NomvRtrIpCidrRoutePreference
Accesreadwrite
Statuscurrent
Description When ipCidrRouteProto has a value of 'netmgmt' to indicate that this entry is a static route, the value of vRtrIpCidrRoutePreference determines the priority of this static route versus the routes from different sources such as BGP or OSPF etc. Different protocols should not be configured with the same preference, if this occurs the tiebreaker is determined per the default preference value as defined in the table below. If multiple routes are learned with an identical preference using the same protocol, the lowest cost is used. If multiple routes are learned with an identical preference using the same protocol and the costs (metrics) are equal, then the decision as to what route to use is determined by the configuration of the ecmp command. Default preferences: Route Type Preference Configurable ---------- ---------- ------------ Direct attached 0 no Static-route 5 yes MPLS (post FCS) 7 OSPF Internal routes 10 no OSPF External 150 yes BGP 170 yes
