DescriptionThe MAC address for which this cache entry provides a translation. Since ATM LAN Emulation uses an ARP protocol to locate the Broadcast and Unknown Server, the value of this object could be the broadcast MAC address. MAC addresses should be unique within any given ATM Emulated LAN. However, there's no requirement that they be unique across disjoint emulated LANs.
