| Description | For normal operation this should be set to false(2). If it set true(1), then the radio link is placed in antenna alignment mode. In this mode control signals are sent to the RF resource which enables the operator to monitor the signal received strength at the RF resource. This is mainly used for antenna steering i.e. positioning the antenna for the best possible signal reception. If set to true(1), the radio link's response to rapid changes in signal strength may potentially be affected. |
