| Description | This object specifies whether this peer is the preferred one over the others. By default, when the value of this object is 'false', NTP chooses the peer with which to synchronize the time on the local system. If this object is set to 'true', NTP will choose the corresponding peer to synchronize the time with. If multiple entries have this object set to 'true', NTP will choose the first one to be set. This object is a means to override the selection of the peer by NTP. |
