Description This object specifies the padding that needs to be inserted into each ethernet frame of the IP SLA operation. The total ethernet frame size of the IP SLA operation is: CFM_header + TLVs + si_length + dm_length + padding size where dm_length = number of octets of the maintenance domain name si_length = number of octets of the service instance name CFM_header = 8 octets TLVs = 60 octets for 'ethernetPing' 45 octets for 'ethernetJitter' If the total frame size exceeds 1500, only 1500 will be sent to the target MEP.
