Description | The port's current state as defined by application
of the Spanning Tree Protocol. This state controls
what action a port takes on reception of a frame.
If the switch has detected a port that is
malfunctioning it will place that port into the
broken(10) state. For ports which are
disabled(see dot1dStpPortEnable), this object will
have a value of disabled(2).
Since the switch implements three
additional states which are not part of IEEE Standard,
these additional states are possible values for
c2900PortStaus. The additional states are preforwarding(6),
secureforwarding(8), and suspended(9). Note: except
for these additional states, this object is the same
as the dot1dStpPortState object.
Default value: blocking(2).
This object is only supported for static VLAN access ports. |
