Description | The table of configuration parameters for a database.
Entries should be populated according to the following
guidelines:
(1) The value should be specified through administrative
(human) intervention.
(2) It should be configured on a per-database basis.
(3) One of the following is true:
(a) The parameter has a non-numeric value;
(b) The current value is numeric, but it only changes due
to human intervention;
(c) The current value is numeric and dynamic, but the
RDBMS does not track access/allocation failures
related to the parameter;
(d) The current value is numeric and dynamic, the
RDBMS tracks changes in access/allocation failures
related to the parameter, but the failure has no
significant impact on RDBMS performance or
availability.
(e) The current value is numeric and dynamic, the
RDBMS tracks changes in access/allocation failures
related to the parameter, the failure has
significant impact on RDBMS performance or
availability, and is shown in the
rdbmsDbLimitedResource table. |
